I never got a chance to thank Haley Schroer for all her work. This refinance has taken so much pressure off of me. I must thank Michael Foote from the bottom of my heart because he has lifted such a burden off me. It feels so good to just breathe and actually get a paycheck and not have to worry about paying bills. I have money in my savings account, and my credit score is slowly moving in the right direction. I think for the past few years I considered refinancing and it seems like I just kept hitting wall after wall, I also felt like I didn’t completely understand what the person was saying ( often feels like they are using big words to confuse you).
Anyhow Michael and his team were so helpful, even the lawyer that came out was SUPER helpful. I reached out to Libby Forrester several months back after I received a letter advertisement for Milend. She was kind to listen to our situation, review our credit scores and history. At that time, Libby said we were not ready to apply for a refinance due to some credit issues but she took the time to explain our situation and give us a solution to work on our credit situation to be able to qualify in the future. I was impressed by this gesture as my past experience has been brokers telling us our credit is a certain score and that they could not help us… never offering a solution.

Where do I even begin with this experience? With next to no effort at all, MiLend has taken me from feeling almost helpless and trapped in a never ending cycle, to absolute financial freedom beyond my understanding. I’ve really not even realized the full benefit of it all and it blows me away.
Outside of my mortgage, all of my debt is paid off and I was left with plenty of funds to complete home improvements. My credit score is already almost at 800 and my peace of mind is through the roof. I can’t honestly put into words what it has meant to me. I have two small kids and a wife and it just creates a better atmosphere knowing I have one less thing to worry about, and in this case about 11 things, as I don’t have multiple bills to keep up with and pay.
I spoke with Clara Flynn in January and my situation wasn’t ideal to be able to pull something like this off. She guided me on how to proceed and made it seem like a possibility. My wife and I sought to convert our 30-year mortgage to a 15-year mortgage. I had some credit issues from an earlier time in my life, but Jenny Ripley was a tremendous encouragement in helping me navigate them. Two years ago I was given Clara Flynn’s contact info to help with credit rehabilitation and buying a home. When I first reached out to her for advice, I didn’t know anything about the home purchase process. I was an early thirties adult who never exercised responsible spending habits, timely bill paying, or saving for the next big step in life. I was military-focused and always figured that part would take care of itself.
