Jennifer Ripley and her team were more than amazing! I am self-employed, a single mother, and a third-year immigrant to the United States. All those things, make me someone who most loan officers wouldn’t spend the time to even try to prequalify for a home loan. I speak from experience, and other lenders told me at first glance that I couldn’t qualify for the amount I needed to be able to purchase what I was looking for in a home.
Jenny was so encouraging and literally “held my hand” through the entire process. She stopped at nothing to ensure I got the best rate with the least amount out of pocket. Her team was just as supportive, answering all my “silly ” first-time homebuyer’s questions. They were so patient, even when scanned documents didn’t come out clearly.

From the first phone call to signing the last document, the whole process of refinancing and closing with Jenny Ripley couldn’t have been easier. Jenny was extremely professional and helped move the process forward the entire time. Communication was the key that made it effortless for us. We provided documentation as requested, but it was Jenny that kept me up to date on the status of the loan.

My wife and I sought to convert our 30-year mortgage to a 15-year mortgage. I had some credit issues from an earlier time in my life, but Jenny Ripley was a tremendous encouragement in helping me navigate them. I greatly appreciate her willingness to work with me as opposed to just seeing it as another transaction. She definitely gave our transaction a personal touch. I’ll certainly refer and use MiLend andJenny for any future mortgage needs.
As a result of their good work, I was able to convert my home loan to a 15-year note, shave 1.125% off my interest rate, drop PMI, and it only increased our monthly payment by $143. Jenny and the entire MiLend team were very professional, and we were amazed at the smoothness of the entire process.
