My refinance was basically effortless on my part. All the folks I dealt with were very helpful. I tried at first to go with my original mortgage company but, after a couple of months of back and forth emails and calls, I realized I was getting nowhere. It was a big waste of time and had been with them for a very long time. Never got a straight answer. After hearing Scott Slade on WSB recommend Milend for a couple of years, I decided to give Jessica Powers a call. I’m glad I did because it went perfectly, and I will recommend Jessica and Milend every chance I get.

Libby met all the timelines we were given and, aside from changing escrow numbers, everything went smoothly. The closing was easy and convenient, and I liked that they would come to the house if necessary for that part of the process. In the end, everything came together and worked out well. Working with Eric Wunderlich made our mortgage process fantastic. This being my third time going through the financing/loan process, Eric made sure everything was smooth and very timely. He worked seamlessly with our realtor and kept open communication with all parties. We were able to go from pre-approval to closing in less than a month – which was critical due to the seller’s needs.
